After a string of three wins, Arcadia's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs.

Jane Ord made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Sunrise Mountain, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Arcadia will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Desert Sunrise at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Sunrise Mountain, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Gila Ridge on the 15th.
