It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Johns Country Day can now relate to. They fell just short of the St. Joseph Academy Flashes by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. St. Johns Country Day's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

St. Johns Country Day got a good showing from Jack Ensell, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Ensell has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.
