Soccer Recap: Clovis Plays to a Tie

Clovis saw some tournament action on Saturday. Neither they nor the Newark Memorial Cougars could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Clovis' goal came courtesy of Alexander Rodriguez, who's now up to 12 this season.

With that draw, Clovis' record moves to 7-1-2. Meanwhile, Newark Memorial's record is now 1-2-2.

Clovis will head out on the road to challenge Mission Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Oak's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Newark Memorial, they will be home for the holidays to greet American at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
