Clovis Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maxwell Bears. The Eagles were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Bears, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

Clovis Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14, 25-22.

Clovis Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clovis Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Floyd at 5:30 p.m. on September 11. As for Maxwell, they will welcome San Jon at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
