Carson is 9-0-1 against East Rowan since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will welcome the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Carson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carson's offense. They came up short against Salisbury on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Carson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Salisbury are ranked 110th).

Meanwhile, East Rowan came up short against Jay M. Robinson on Tuesday and fell 5-3.

Carson now has a losing record of 8-9. As for East Rowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.

Everything went Carson's way against East Rowan in their previous matchup back in September, as Carson made off with a 4-1 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
