Soccer Game Preview: Wrightstown vs. Freedom

The Wrightstown Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Freedom Irish at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wrightstown is headed into Tuesday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since August 28. Neither they nor Clintonville could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Freedom hasn't lost a match since August 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Marinette.

Andres Chavez and Caleb Kurey scored both of Freedom's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

With that draw, Freedom's record moves to 9-1-4. Meanwhile, Wrightstown's record is now 5-7-2.

Wrightstown came up short against Freedom when the teams last played back in September of 2023, falling 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
