Lakewood won the last time they faced Manning and things went their way on Friday too. The Lakewood Gators came out on top against the Manning Monarchs by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

Emily Munoz Diaz and Chelsea Salgado scored all three of Lakewood's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Lakewood's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Manning, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Lakewood has already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Wilson on the 11th. As for Manning, they will face off against Timberland at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th. Manning will be up against Timberland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.6 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
