It was a good run, but South County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the New Berlin Pretzels. If the Vipers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Pretzels when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
South County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made New Berlin work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24.
South County's loss dropped their record down to 16-17. As for New Berlin, they moved to 14-17 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.
South County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Berlin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Routt Catholic on the 23rd.
