Crowley had to endure  a  12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Denton Broncos on Tuesday, sneaking past  7-5. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.
 Malachi Pavlovich tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 On the hitting side, Crowley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Keanu Rodriguez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Gavin Toomer was another,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
The  win was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 11-19. As for Denton, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15-2 record  this season.
Crowley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Denton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
