Columbia had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the DuQuoin Indians a 15-0 shutout on Monday. Considering Columbia have won 12 matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the seventh in a row for Columbia, bringing their record up to 19-2-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those seven contests. As for DuQuoin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-15-1.
