Softball Game Preview: Cambridge N/A vs. Greenwich Witches

Cambridge hasn't had much luck against Greenwich recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The N/A will be playing at home against the Witches at 4:30 p.m. Cambridge will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

On Friday, Cambridge made easy work of Emma Willard and carried off an 18-3 win. Considering the N/A have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Greenwich sidestepped Hoosick Falls for an 8-6 victory. That's two games straight that the Witches have won by exactly two runs.

The win made it two in a row for Greenwich and bumps their season record up to 10-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Cambridge, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
