Frenchtown is 9-1 against Stevensville since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Broncs will head out on the road to take on the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Frenchtown has five straight victories, Stevensville has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Frenchtown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Corvallis 50-0 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cole Johnson produced another solid effort rushing for 141 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries, while also throwing for seven yards and one touchdown. Konnor Klimpel was in the mix too, providing Frenchtown with one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Frenchtown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 259 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 208 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bailey Corette, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Stevensville was beaten by Beaverhead County 42-14 on Friday.

Stevensville's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Frenchtown, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything came up roses for Frenchtown against Stevensville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
