Attleboro came tearing into Monday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stoughton Black Knights. The Bombardiers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Black Knights, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Attleboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilliana Wiese, who had nine aces. Those nine aces gave Wiese a new career-high. Nella Smith was another key player, getting 11 digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Attleboro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive contests.

Attleboro's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Stoughton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Attleboro is set to face off against their familiar foe Taunton at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stoughton will take on rival North Attleborough at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
