Volleyball Game Preview: Cypress Creek Bears vs. St. Cloud Bulldogs

The Cypress Creek Bears will square off against the St. Cloud Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Creek is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Last Tuesday, Cypress Creek got the win against Boone by a conclusive 3-0.

Cypress Creek never let Boone on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-16.

Anthony Nguyen was nothing short of spectacular: he had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most digs he has posted over his last eight contests. Isaiah Votteler also deserves some recognition as he had his first kills of the season.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, St. Cloud rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers.

Cypress Creek's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for St. Cloud, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
