Volleyball Game Preview: O'Fallon Panthers vs. Edwardsville Tigers

The O'Fallon Panthers will head out to challenge the Edwardsville Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when O'Fallon took on Breese Central on Friday. The Panthers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, O'Fallon sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Edwardsville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Redbirds.

Edwardsville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Alton to exactly 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.

O'Fallon's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Edwardsville, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
