Basketball Game Preview: Danville Warriors vs. Tri-West Hendricks Bruins

Having just played yesterday, the Danville Warriors will jump right back in to play the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Danville comes in on three and Tri-West Hendricks on six.

Danville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 51-39 win over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory.

Danville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddy Wethington, who posted 13 points and four steals. What's more, Wethington also posted a 80% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Addison Davis was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Tri-West Hendricks didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Guerin Catholic on Friday, but they still walked away with a 42-36 win.

Tri-West Hendricks' victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Danville, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

Everything came up roses for Danville against Tri-West Hendricks in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-44 victory. Does Danville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tri-West Hendricks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
