Basketball Recap: Lake Region Beats Mulberry for Their Third Straight Win

Lake Region had won two straight games and Erik Koshinski did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Lake Region Thunder came out on top against the Mulberry Panthers by a score of 47-37 thanks in part to Koshinski, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 21 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Lynkon Ricks was another key player, putting up six points along with six rebounds and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Lake Region's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Mulberry, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Region will host Bridge to Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mulberry, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m.
