Volleyball Recap: Annie Rosinski and Patty Stepek Secure Win for Glenbrook South

Glenbrook South won the last time they faced Maine West and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Glenbrook South was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-6.

Leading Glenbrook South to victory were Patty Stepek and Annie Rosinski. Stepek had five digs and five aces, while Rosinski had three digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Rosinski a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Glenbrook South was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Glenbrook South's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Maine West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
