Baseball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss

Marion County's last matchup with Campbellsville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Knights lost 16-2 to the Eagles. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Noah Spalding made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Campbellsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
