Smithfield's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Grafton Clippers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering Smithfield have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Grafton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julianna Jones (3), Rileigh Estes (2), and Paige Rainey.

Smithfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Grafton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smithfield will square off against York at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. York's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grafton, they will take on Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jamestown will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Grafton surely won't give up without a fight.
