Soccer Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Warren Central Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Warren Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in August.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Warren Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2-1.

Greenwood and Warren Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Gators will challenge Warren East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (33 vs. 121). Meanwhile, Warren Central (ranked seventh) will meet Franklin-Simpson (ranked 79th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
