Basketball Recap: Terry Sanford Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Terry Sanford waltzed into their game on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They claimed a resounding 65-7 victory over the Harnett Central Trojans. The team accrued 54 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terry Sanford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Breonna Roaf, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten steals. Roaf has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidiah Blake, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Terry Sanford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 57 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
