Baseball Recap: Four Corners Triumphs

Four Corners's tournament run continued when they took on Sarasota Christian on Saturday. The Coyotes walked away with a 5-2 win over the Blazers.

Cameron Morgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Four Corners' success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is undefeated (and 6-7-1 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Nicholas Infante was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jose Malave was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Four Corners' victory bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Sarasota Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Four Corners does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sarasota Christian, they will face off against Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
