Baseball Game Preview: Firebaugh Eagles vs. Tranquillity Tigers

Firebaugh has gone 9-1 against Tranquillity recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Tranquillity took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Firebaugh, who comes in off a win.

Firebaugh came out on top against Coalinga on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Eagles walked away with a 7-4 win over the Horned Toads.

Urijah Holguin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on nine hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
