            Coleman has gone  a perfect 6-0 against Fulton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Comets are taking a road trip to  take on the Pirates  at 4:00  p.m. Coleman will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
Coleman had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Carman-Ainsworth on Saturday. The Comets put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp  15-2 win.

 Isabelle Lewis was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those  12  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Sydney Bovee was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Kendall Allen, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Coleman  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carman-Ainsworth struck out 12 times.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Fulton). They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over St. Charles on Friday. The Pirates not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since May 21, 2024 (when they won  12-0).
 Coleman's record now sits at 6-13. As for Fulton, their record is now 2-6.
 Coleman took their  victory against Fulton  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  18-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
