Woodland is 0-3 against Drummond since February of 2025 but things could change on Monday. The Cougars will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Drummond took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Woodland, who comes in off a win.
Woodland's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Yale as they made off with a 14-0 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
Collin Brazee was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Woodland is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 6-16 otherwise. Brazee was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Pate Nibeck looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, Khamdyn Patterson was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Woodland's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-17 when he doesn't). Goob Kennedy was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and three runs.
Meanwhile, Drummond unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Chisholm by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.
Drummond saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Edwards, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
The victory made it two in a row for Woodland and bumps their season record up to 9-17. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Drummond, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-3.
