Eagle Point had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Churchill on Saturday. The Eagles blew past the Lancers 13-6. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.
 Brylee Leonardo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate, Eagle Point let  Allison Martin and  Emalee Logan run wild. Martin  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double, while  Logan  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  Martin has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Riley Jacoby, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
Eagle Point's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Churchill,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-16.
Eagle Point will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
