Baseball Recap: East Lincoln Mustangs vs. Rockingham County Cougars
East Lincoln had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Rockingham County Cougars 6-5. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by just one run.

East Lincoln got a great performance from Ty Davis as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, Davis posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brandon Washington, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Hager, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.
East Lincoln pushed their record up to 20-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
