Volleyball Recap: Animo De La Hoya Victorious

On Friday, the Animo De La Hoya Boxers earned a 3-1 win over the Sotomayor Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Boxers.

Animo De La Hoya had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-15.

Animo De La Hoya's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sotomayor, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Animo De La Hoya will challenge Rise Kohyang at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rise Kohyang will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Animo De La Hoya surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sotomayor, they will face off against Torres at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sotomayor is facing Torres at the right time seeing as Torres is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
