Basketball Recap: Boyle County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Estill County on Saturday, Boyle County came back down to earth. The Boyle County Rebels took a blow against the Dixie Heights Colonels on Sunday, falling 72-40. The matchup marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Boyle County's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Dixie Heights, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyle County will venture away from home to square off against Wayne County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixie Heights, they will head out to face off against St. Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
