New Braunfels Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by John Paul II to the tune of 84-44 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross hadn't done well against John Paul II recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Holy Cross took their matchup with ease, bagging a 76-21 victory over John Paul II.

New Braunfels Christian Academy better keep an eye on Aaron Garcia. He was instrumental in Holy Cross' win, going 14 for 16 on his way to 31 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which Garcia has scored at least a third of Holy Cross' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Lerma, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Holy Cross smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

New Braunfels Christian Academy's record now sits at 12-13. As for Holy Cross, their record is now 8-14.
