Carson and South Rowan are an even 4-4-2 against one another since January of 2021, but likely not for long. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Carson came up short against Northwest Cabarrus and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Rowan). They beat West Rowan by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory continues a trend for South Rowan in their matchups with West Rowan: they've now won four in a row.

Dylan Rodriguez and Carlos Landaverde scored both of South Rowan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for South Rowan, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10-1.

Everything went Carson's way against South Rowan in their previous matchup back in September, as Carson made off with a 6-1 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
