Basketball Game Preview: Colonial Grenadiers vs. West Orange Warriors

Colonial hasn't had much luck against West Orange recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Colonial will be strutting in after a win while West Orange will be coming in after a defeat.

Colonial is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Bridge to Independence with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 94-77. Given the Grenadiers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Wildcats are ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Orange ended up a good deal behind Winter Park on Wednesday and lost 59-44.

The victory made it two in a row for Colonial and bumps their season record up to 11-8. As for West Orange, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

Things could have been worse for Colonial, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 80-64 loss to West Orange in their previous meeting back in February of 2021.
