The Gibbon Buffaloes were not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 79-58 walloping at the hands of Overton. Eli Luther was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and five assists for Overton. Gibbon will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Kearney Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on February 20th. Hopefully Kearney Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Overton, they will take on Southern Valley at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Overton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Southern Valley likes a good challenge.
