 Madison Central is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Montgomery County is on a 11-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Madison Central Indians will take on the Montgomery County Indians at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Thursday, Madison Central earned  a  4-1 victory over Henry Clay. That's two games straight that Madison Central has won by  exactly three  runs.
  Andrea Linton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side, Madison Central's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Lina Guerra, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Montgomery County faced West Jessamine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Montgomery County won by a  run and slipped past West Jessamine  6-5.
 The team  relied heavily on  Reaghan Oney, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Madison Cox, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Madison Central has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record  this season. As for Montgomery County, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.
