It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sequoia can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Milpitas Trojans on Thursday. The Ravens' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Sequoia started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21.

Samantha McMurtry paced Sequoia's offense, picking up 15 kills. McMurtry got some help from Jayda McGlennon and her 38 assists. Katalina Tuipulotu controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sequoia's loss dropped their record down to 22-15. As for Milpitas, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Sequoia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milpitas, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Menlo-Atherton on the 8th.
