Millbrook took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Sherando, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pioneers had just enough and edged out the Warriors 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pioneers have posted since April 29th.

Millbrook moved to 9-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Sherando, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Millbrook will take on Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sherando does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
