Recap: Parkview Christian Patriots vs. Cornerstone Christian School Cougars
Make it six blowout wins for the Parkview Christian Patriots this season. They put the hurt on Cornerstone Christian School with a sharp 60-40 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for Parkview Christian who now have three in a row.
Terance Pittman was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with seven steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Parkview Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Merrill, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Parkview Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian School, they have fallen quite a ways from their 14-7 record last season and are now at 4-7.
Parkview Christian will face off against Brownell Talbot at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Brownell Talbot focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Monday. As for Cornerstone Christian School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heartland Christian on Monday.
