Volleyball Game Preview: Amundsen Vikings vs. Taft Eagles

Amundsen is 1-6 against Taft since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Amundsen sitting on seven straight victories and Taft on three.

On Monday, Amundsen beat Payton College Prep 2-0.

Amundsen easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Taft was able to grind out a solid win over Lincoln Park on Monday, taking the game 2-0.

Amundsen's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 27-6.
