Washington won the last time they faced Burlington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Demons came out on top against the Grayhounds by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Demons.

While Washington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Burlington scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 26-24.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Burlington, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-9.

Coming up, Washington will square off against Fort Madison at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Burlington and Mt. Pleasant will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
