Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was the 2-1 winner over Blue Ridge when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. One reason for the loss might be Holy Cross' aggressive play style: Jamie Prislupski and Cole Gavin were both handed yellow cards.

Prislupski and Adam Badyrka scored both of Holy Cross' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Holy Cross has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Blue Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
