Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Jaguars vs. Monte Vista Mustangs

The Windsor Jaguars will venture away from home to take on the Monte Vista Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 12 games.

Windsor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Acalanes.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 27-25, 29-27.

Meanwhile, Monte Vista had just enough and edged out Castro Valley 3-2 on Saturday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Monte Vista who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, 18-25, 15-11.

Windsor's record now sits at 23-6. As for Monte Vista, their record is now 26-9.

Windsor came up short against Monte Vista in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 3-1. Thankfully for the Jaguars, Caprice Cordle (who had 21 digs and four assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
