The Munroe Bobcats can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 44-40 W over Brooks County.
Munroe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Traniha Jackson led the charge by scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Jackson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Aariyonni Thomas was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Munroe's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Brooks County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Munroe and Thomasville will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Thomasville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Brooks County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lincoln at 1:00 p.m. on December 30th. Lincoln is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
