Boulder Creek proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 42) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the O'Connor Eagles. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Leading Boulder Creek to victory were Everett Stano and Duke Milacek. Stano rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown, while Milacek rushed for 72 yards and one score.

Despite the loss, O'Connor still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Adeyanju, who rushed for 99 yards and one TD on only 14 carries.

Boulder Creek's record now sits at 3-5. As for O'Connor, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
