Skyline barely beat Lake Washington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on the Kangaroos with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Skyline never let Lake Washington on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-18.

Emma Gutke paced Skyline's offense, picking up 18 kills. Gutke got some help from Piper Hawryluk and her 25 assists. Sam Oberg controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 13-8-3. As for Lake Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Redmond on the 1st. As for Lake Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lincoln on the 1st.
