Football Game Preview: Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans vs. West Ridge Wolves + How To Watch

The Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans will take on the West Ridge Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morristown-Hamblen West will be strutting in after a victory while West Ridge will be coming in after a loss.

It was a classic East v. West duel when Morristown-Hamblen West took on Morristown-Hamblen East on Friday. The Trojans secured a 13-7 W over the Hurricanes.

Riley McClellan was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 179 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. What's more, he racked up 20 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Morristown-Hamblen West's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Keagan Covington, Lucas Orr, and Michael Holmes Jr, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, West Ridge had to suffer through a 45-14 loss at the hands of Dobyns-Bennett. The contest marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

West Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Morristown-Hamblen West, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
