Basketball Recap: Littleton Falls Short Against Ranked Woodsville

On Friday, Littleton faced Woodsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Littleton Crusaders fell just short of the Woodsville Engineers by a score of 61-58. That makes it the first time this season the Crusaders have let down their home crowd.

Littleton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Woodsville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littleton will take on Colebrook Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodsville, they will venture away from home to square off against Profile at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
