Basketball Game Preview: McNairy Central Bobcats vs. Scotts Hill Lions

Having just played yesterday, the McNairy Central Bobcats will get right back to it and host the Scotts Hill Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. McNairy Central is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

McNairy Central saw some tournament action on Friday. They strolled past Colbert County with points to spare, taking the game 51-37. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 36th in Tennessee, while the Indians are ranked 157th in Alabama), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Scotts Hill's good fortune finally ran out last Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 1-0 to Chester County. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

McNairy Central's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Scotts Hill, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.

McNairy Central beat Scotts Hill 51-41 when the teams last played on December 5th. Will McNairy Central repeat their success, or does Scotts Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
