Baseball Recap: LBJ Austin Jaguars vs. Travis Rebels
After flying high against Northeast Early College last Saturday, LBJ Austin came back down to earth. The LBJ Austin Jaguars fell 14-9 to the Travis Rebels on Tuesday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
LBJ Austin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braydon Williams, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Giovanni Ramirez was another, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-3.
LBJ Austin's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Travis, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
While LBJ Austin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
