There's no place like home for The Cambridge School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Knights on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Griffins in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-28, 25-17, 25-19.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brad Chier, who had 20 kills, 12 digs, and two aces. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had seven or more in each of the last 21 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Esteban Torres, who had 38 assists and seven digs.

The Cambridge School's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Victory Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Coming up, The Cambridge School will square off against Clairemont at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against High Tech Mesa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
